I looked at several of the American library sites on MySpace but found them uninspiring and unattractive. The Auckland and Rotorua sites were much more attractive and easier to use. I suppose these sites would appeal to young people and others who are used to using MySpace etc. but I wonder how people find them in the first place. My teenage daughter didn't know libraries had Bebo and MySpace sites and doesn't think she would be interested in them. I think a really attractive and easy to use website is more important for a library, it is more accessible to everyone.
